- Have you been assessed as being dyslexic:
- Yes...in the last few weeks of school. I struggled before that and my school refused to get me tested. I had a horrible time at school, got bullied etc...and got told by my teachers that I'd never make it into Uni or do a good job. When I went to college I met someone who told me that dyslexia was a great thing, and helped me get funding for a laptop to help with my coursework. I then did a honors degree and I've been working as a musican for the last two years.
