I am old. According to Dr K-whatsit

Ok everyone in SDSNDland. Life is quiet here in Yorkshire later so there has been nothing to report. Nothing except that I have been having some fun with the Dr K-whatsits brain and site training games that we got last weekend. I have actually discovered something pretty interesting. That is that as the week goes on my brain and eye age get higher. Now that wouldn't be quite so worrying if the change wasn't so dramatic. And it wouldn't be so worrying if my job allowed me to be crap towards the e… Continue

Brain training

I got that Dr K whatsits brain and site training for Nintendo ds this weekend. Then I realised that I haven't a hope of geting anything like my reel age because you have to be good at mental arithmetic and reading fast and remembering numbers etc. So yeah I'm pretty crap. But hey I'm a hole year younger since yesterday so thats good ;o)

A blog????

Oh heck I didn'tnow I had a blog here. Wonder what I could write *strokes chin and thinks*. I know. I will copy and entry from my regular blog here http://yorksrambler.blogspot.com/. I wrote the entry because lately I was tired and stressed and seem to be having more dyslexic issues when I'm at work. And also because I was setting up a message board for dyslexics here http://discussingdyslexia.yuku.com/ and it was kind of consuming my life for a while LOL.

Just incase you were wondering. DysContinue

Hi Louise; Yes the cost of being tested is a consideration at this time! But until I get money flowing once more I will not make that choice. I still tend to shy away from being tested because I don't know what it would do for me? Life is coming full circle and I have made large leeps in controling the symtoms of Dyslexia and have learned to live with it. The only thing that bothers me is the depression and feelings of being lost in my mind. With out that niche being filled, I spend too much time to think of my problems. Given something to do will go a long way in easing my pain! Thank for your consern.

lol yea, it sometimes is hard to see. But i can tell you i believe in dyslexic people so much, i have seen what they can do by meeting them and reading about people like us. I was so glad to know i was not the only one, who had a hard time (understanding) school or much less any thing else. This thing dyslexic thing was the worst. untill i let my best friend read my writings, she was floored, the spelling may have been bad but the stories she loved and wanted more. she has been a docter for 23 years. with her help i found my gift, and i seen that all dyslexics have gifts we just have to find them.
